Two things: RGB curves on Lightroom. They’re not something I used before.

And adobe’s color palette extractor: https://color.adobe.com/create/image

You can better identify which colors are used in the highlights and shadows with it

I looked at some Wes Anderson stills while writing this indeed. I felt that a lot of the style is in the color palette of the set design rather than the color grading so it was hard to recreate in existing photos. There’s definitely a lot of intention in the choices of color in his movies
